“As Diana and Matt celebrated two years of marriage, they decided to plant new roots, literally and figuratively. They have recently moved into a new home and decided to celebrate their anniversary by picking out plants at their favorite local garden shop for their new balcony space. We spent an afternoon with them as they planted together, reminiscing about the things they have learned so far in their time as husband and wife. “We dream about having a yard with a garden and filling it with plants, herbs, and vegetables one days,” said Diana. “We’ve always loved the beauty displayed by plants; the way they brighten a home and our hearts. Plants need to be watered, re-potted, given sun, and showered with patience and love. Just like marriage! Marriage takes playfulness, listening, wisdom shared from friends and families we respect, and grace. We chose plants so that we can be surrounded by beauty when we go out to our little patio.”
